1:20 Aren’t you using Quantus Ampla here as a low pass gate, not strictly as a VCA? I’m not the best with modular and have been wracking my brain how a strict VCA would work this way. I can do it with an Optomix but not Maths, though I admit I might be missing something.
Excellent question! We have two blog posts that may be helpful. This blog talks about the differences between envelopes, VCAs, and attenuators: noiseengineering.us/blogs/loquelic-literitas-the-blog/getting-started-envelopes-vcas-and-attenuators And this one talks about lowpass gates: noiseengineering.us/blogs/loquelic-literitas-the-blog/getting-started-lowpass-gates
how do i oepn this application
These plugins run inside of a DAW, like Ableton Live or Logic.
@@NoiseEngineering i wanted to know if it is possible to connect it to your microphone in real time, as in a call
@@ylobi1513 Our effects plugins should work in any VST/AU host.
@@NoiseEngineering is it somehow possible to connect it to something like discord?
@@ylobi1513 As far as we know, Discord does not support VST/AU plugins. This plugin was designed for music production.
Does this beat a Torso T-1?
I'm stuck between this and bluebox but bluebox has built in fx and eq so I'm going with that
Is there any other expander modules expected for xer mixa?
We're always developing new ideas. Thanks for the feedback 💥
Materializing $53,739 so I may purchase
this is fcking nut man hellfire great asex mood
Reminds me of NDLR
Looks really cool.
Picked this up the other day after working with the other plugins for months. It is SO unbelievably good. I'm probably the only one asking for it at the moment but Basimilus Iteritas paired with an Incus Iteritas plugin would be to die for. I will keep on dreaming
+1 faders on bottom

Does the length control all four channels at once? Or is there a way to change the length and sequence of each channel individually?
Each input can take in different incoming trigger patterns, but all the parameters affect the channels globally.
NEEEEEEED
@Noise Engineering this looks awesome. A few questions: 1.) Do the various scale settings listed in the manual correspond to any particular scales (harmonic minor, phyrigian, etc.)? Or are these just various note selections/limitations offered under the three main scale options (major/minor/symmetric)? It looks like RRR is definitely chromatic... 2.) Let's say you enter rhythm generation mode to generate randomized repeating rhythm patterns, but aren't crazy about the rhythm that's been produced. Is there a way to quickly generate a new randomized rhythm? (Sort of like the "dice" button on Vermona's Melodicer.) 3.) Which NE modules would be a good fit to send randomized-yet-repeating triggers to this module? The main goal here would be to create musical-sounding patterns that don't trigger every single quarter/8th/16th note. Or maybe rhythm generation mode alone would suffice for that?
Hi there. Great questions! 1. Here's the scale list: natural major tetratonic natural major pentatonic natural major diatonic melodic major tetratonic melodic major pentatonic melodic major diatonic harmonic major tetratonic harmonic major pentatonic harmonic major diatonic natural minor tetratonic natural minor pentatonic natural minor diatonic melodic minor tetratonic melodic minor pentatonic melodic minor diatonic harmonic minor tetratonic harmonic minor pentatonic harmonic minor diatonic octave octave + tritone minor thirds major thirds major thirds + tritone major thirds + minor thirds minor thirds whole tone chromatic 2. The random patterns are 50% passthrough. There is no way to generate new rhythms. 3. The Numeric and Zularic Repetitors aren't quite random but would work really well. Our Jam Jam module can also create random patterns that take a simple trigger pattern and make random patterns that you can then send out to the Numeric or Zularic Repetitor.
We'll update the manual to show the names of the scales as well.
Send some to Cicada Sound in Ottawa so I can buy it! :)
So complex, very nice y’all
I will buy for the 3D cube alone
10 HP masterpiece!
Would this mostly be used as a sequencer? Or would it be useful for cv modulation? I'm new to eurorack
It's designed with sequencing in mind, but it works great for modulation, too. Since it has four CV outs, it can do both at the same time!
Hell yeah y'all
Wow, right on time. Was about to get myself a Turing Machine 😂
kinda like leploop?
You say that when reset is held, randomized repeating rhythm patterns are generated at the trigger outputs. How are these patterns generated? Are they based on the incoming trigger signal?
Rhythm Mode patterns are just a 50% passthrough rate
Idk I got Pams but I do like what it can do that Pams can't.
OK, that's irresistible, even though it means I have to de-rack my beloved Touring Machine.
Just use it as more modulation!
@@gibaleebog Oh I would...but I'm 100% out of room. It will go into storage until I build yet another case some day.
@@gibaleebog Actually, I guess I could just replace the voltages expander and keep the TM. Yeah, that's the ticket!
How do the counter melodies work? Are they similar to sample and hold from the base melody or is this generating something in the background to be triggered for cv outs 2-4?
Each of the 4 trigger inputs can be clocked independently. We clocked the 2nd trigger input (the counter-melody) at 1/4 the speed of the 1st trigger input. The clock source in this video is Horologic Solum, just above the Gamut Repetitor.
@@NoiseEngineering ok but the actual melody is the same for all cv outs? It’s just being clocked differently? Those channels will always be the same melody if clocked the same?
@@foxendeavor No, four different patterns can be generated.
@@NoiseEngineering Got it, thanks!
Purchased!
awesome!!! I want it :D
Just bought a Tymp Legio, and I think I'll definitely also mess around with this firmware
Thank you - hope you enjoy Roucha as well
For oscillator frequency, his LIP has knobs instead of endless encoders. Is this an older version?
The LIP has always had encoders, including this one; it just has different knobs installed.
@@NoiseEngineering Thank you! ❤

THANK YOU.
Sure would love to see an Incus Vereor plugin in the future. This module rules
LOVE the Noise Engineering plugins. Ever since I picked them up my workflow centers around Cursus Vereor, Loquelic Vereor & Manis Iteritas. These tools are insanely good, especially when you start to dig into the near infinite modulation possibilities & start going all modular, in the box... & with polyphony. Noise Engineering plugins are secret weapons just waiting to be discovered. Now I'm dreaming about a polyphonic Incus & Debel... oooh man I pray thats in the pipeline
Wow. Thanks for your feedback!
Just got the plugin, really dig it! It's brutal and versatile, and can totally imagine making it into my live set. I wondering though, it doesn't respond to program changes, right? Is that something that might be implemented in the future? Could be great for switching presets between songs/parts of an arrangement. Anyhow, keep up the great work!
Very fun module
what a fun module
Everything sounds the same. We need more variety please
Luscious module.<3
This is amazing
I wonder if it would still make Pams Workout go mental when using the clock input. I need to find something that won't (even though it's setup correctly), as I want the brains/clock source to be external to modular but Pams never likes it.
How many modules do you have going here? It would be great to get a tutorial on how to do this
I'm not personally one for these simplified FM/PM products, since I like full control over the engine, custom algorithms, etc. But I really appreciate their existence to help bring these cool timbres to more people in more accessible ways :) and I personally think you did a better job with these macro knobs than the Digitone! I know there's more and more FM/PM Eurorack products lately, but I think this stands-out among a lot of them. Especially when a few of them rely on having screens, which isn't really the Eurorack style (as far as I'm concerned, anyway - I know some people love putting whole trackers in their racks). This does a great job of urging the user to be guided by their ear.
Excited at some point to add this to my case when there’s another row! Gotta get on that Noise Engineering platform haha. Always love the jams! Nice one!
This module sounds amazing -- adding to my wishlist! Question: are these sequences all coming from the MD? Are you programming them in? I dig the variation youre getting and how things are not stuck to a grid.
Thank you, and yes, they're all coming from the Mimetic Digitalis.
Where can I buy that shirt? ;)
